When you work in the hospitality industry and you serve alcohol to your guests in The Netherlands, you'll need to comply with the law (which is called in Dutch) 'Alcoholwet'. You will also have to comply with this law if you work in an off-licenced/wine store formula. This law requires that during opening hours there must be at least 1 employee who has the 'Diploma SVH Social Responsibility' (In Dutch called 'Diploma SVH Sociale Hygiëne). Every supervisor and employee who works indepently is obligated to have this Diploma.
This Social Responsibility course provides a decent preperation for the SVH exam of Social Responsibility. During the course you will learn to take proper care of difficult situations such as dealing with guests who are influenced by alcohol or drugs. Furthermore, you will learn what your responsibilities are and how to take care of the safety of your guests, collegues and yourself. After passing the exam, you will receive the SVH Diploma Sociale Hygiëne.
The course takes place from 09:00 a.m. till 16:50 pm. The exam will start directly after the course at 17:10 pm and takes 40 minutes. The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions (A, B, C). To pass the exam at least 29 questions have to be answered correctly. The fee for the SVH Exam Social Responsibilty is included in the price.
This course is suitable for entrepeneurs, managers and employees working in the hospitality industry or in liquor stores. When working in any other organisation where alcohol is being served to guests (like a community centre, health care institution or sports association) you will need Social Responsibility as well.
There are no pre-requisites requirements for this course.
